frankly, i remember blackelantrasomething saying that they are in fact the same bulbs as stock

For the OEM US Spec and KDM Projector Fogs, they are both H3 bulbs.

Unless you're going to add hyperwhite bulbs or something like that, I would wait until the fogs actually come in. When mine came from Carbon, there were already 2 new OEM H3 bulbs from Osram Sylvania.

I believe the H3 bulbs that comes from factory are rated at 35W, but I'm about to go to the grocery store in a min so I'll double check what wattage the manual says.

The OEM gt fogs are 55W.

Just as a heads up, most front lights on cars have what bulb they are "written" on them.

Yeah I know but I DONT have the KDM gt fogs in my hand yet, so I wanted to know in advance so I can order my yellow bulbs for them

Yep you're right. The manual says 55W

Just to put a disclaimer in here for anyone reading this in the future:

DO NOT PUT 55W BULBS IN THE KDM GLS FOGLIGHTS. The GT's come with 55w and are fine to use a 55w bulb, but the KDM GLS lights come with 27w and will melt with a 55w bulb in them. One of the differences in the GLS/GT models.

yeah i would love the kdm gt lights with yellow fogs...very is300...

i have PIAA Ion Crystal in my stockers now..they are the bomb!!! :bowdown:

Nice!.. Do you have a night picture?

I have a set of H3 Excelite yellow bulbs in my room.. I heard they are great, im gonna try them when I get the fogs.
