anyone ever succesfully solve the rattle problem of the rear deck? I'm thinkin just take it out and insulate the crap out of it.

hatch or sedan? and if it rattles, use some foam tape. this should work. dynamatt material will work, but if your talking about putting it on the hatch cover i doubt it will stick to it.

Do you think that 3M double sided foam tape would do the trick?

it all depends on where the rattle is and what it is. we use it at the dealership and i use it in my car.

if it's hidden, you can use some of that foam in a can.. but where ever there is thin sheet metal, it will do the rattle sound just because it can move, try using the can foam and covering the thing so it can't vibrate like it does... good luck, and remember, if the trunk rattles, fix it!
