Cleaned my trunk handle trim (is this the right word for it?).
What do you think about it?

I'm a hatch owner myself. I love the wing and I love the shaved handle trim, how did you do that? Also I take it the wing is OEM?

The wing is Hyundai OEM.
For the handle I used some polyester-putty from Nigrin. I only ground the plastic and filled the holes after removing the emblem and the lock.

Very nice, dont see many elantras in Europe, I go to Italy every couple years and only see Atos, Accents, and Sante Fes.
I'm in Kosovo and I see elantras every now and then, usually sedans
In bulgaria they use em as taxis

looks sick! i love the shaved trunk!
wish there was a writeup on how to do it! i find it useless to have a lock back there anyway when the alarm is the only thing that i use to unlock it.

@CsL_FrEaK: the rims were 1050€ (~1335 US$) and they don't rub :tongue:
Pictures show the handle before painting.
The bracket (2nd picture) was broken apart but I could fix it with the same putty I used to fill the holes...

very nice, how did you remove that if you dont mind me asking.
is there a way to remove it from the outside? or is it easier to take apart the hatch and remove it from the inside?

You can only remove it from inside. You have to unfasten six nuts...
The easiest way is, to take apart all the hatch-covering around the window, because the removeable service-panels leave not much room to work.

The clear sidemarkers are stock on the tiburon and other models in germany. I got them from my Hyundai-dealer.
And yes, the spoiler is pretty rare. I guess I'm the only one in germany to have this one installed :D

Took away the rear wiper yesterday... I like the clean look!
I also wanted to remove the nozzle, but this will take some hours of work... I think I have to remove the whole roof-covering to reach the nozzle and hose from inside...
