Weekend Trip

As all of you know i live in Iceland, stationed with the military. Well my wife and i decided that because this past weekend was one of the only weekends i have ever had off, we were going on a trip to the east side of the island. Well it was fantastic, we stayed in a cabin all weekend and got to see some things that are just breath-taking. I tried to capture the awsomeness on camera but these pictures do it NO justice. If you can i strongly encourage a visit to the "land of fire and ice"

My wife & I were up there last January, it is really an amazing place. We did not get out into the country as much as we wanted but just being in Reykjavik was great & fascinating. got pics around here some where

That is awesome. Somewhere else that I want to visit in my lifetime then. China and now Iceland.

The temps are about 40 to 50 degrees in the summer and they only drop down to about 10 or so in the winter but you have to factor in the wind chill...my god, it makes it feel about -100 degrees. and if anyone wants the full sized pictures, just pm me and i will send you a link to them

Is it expensive out there? I would love to take a trip there for a week or so. Just to get some real relaxing settings like that. Absolutely amazing.
