I go to sleep for a few hours and Rob is banned? What's going on with that? I read the thread and I know Rob, he wasn't mad at all, if anything, it looked like he was joking around and got banned for it. So... WTF?

I know that this will throw me in the middle of it. But if Rob is banned, I feel that it would only be fair if Rachel got banned as well. No hard feelings, just how I see the situation panning out.

Guys its Rob (03silverbullet) I am not sure why I was banned, but its all good if this is the way James wants it. I dont think James has liked me from my first post/thread back in 2004 when I was a member on the old XD.com and I think its because im to real, meaning I speak my mind no matter what. It seems like this whole thing with Rachel was his excuse to get rid of me. Im not the boss of the forum, James is so its his choice if he wants to ban someone. Im not mad and im not upset, I guess it was just my time to go and move on from XD.

Well i just hope that everyone can put asside whatever the hell happens over the internet cause its all FAKE!!!! These posts you type to eachother don't mean much and shouldn't be taken to heart. And I'm pretty sure with the way people "type" it would be alot different if you guys were "discussing" how things were gonna go in REAL LIFE face to face. So don't bring up anything bad, no e-drama please, and theres no such thing as "keeping it real" on the internet lol... its all fake... and in my opinion: That dealership would want other car makes to attend cause we are showing off the "best" of hyundai and if theres people (without hyundais) seeing how nicely these cars can be modded, they might be interested in buying one, or at least seeing how cheap they are at the dealership. Both Rob and Rachael were warned, they continued to do what they were told not to do and they both received a 5 day timeout to calm down. What's done is done.

I am not sure what you mean about this Rob, he sent both you and Rachael PM's on what you were doing. It is not whether he likes you or not, it is about respect, he owns the site, he asked you to stop and you continued to do it. Honestly, what did you think he was going to do when you blatantly do exactly what he tells you not to do? It is only for a few days, if he really didn't like you it would have been permanent.

I don't know either one of them very well, but I know Rob can be a little too "in your face" for his own good. Looking at that thread, Rachel doesn't back down either. If one was banned, they both should be; they were both slingin' it good in that thread.

If I was mod (heaven help us), I would delete the offending posts if that is possible and tell everyone to keep the thread friendly and take the nasty stuff offline.

Personally, though, I think Rob is a jealous twerp; the dealer put Rachel in charge (assuming she wasn't bs'ing there), and he wasn't, and it drove him nuts. He needs to get over himself.

The two people who were posting really frivolous, childish posts in that thread got five-day bans. Suddenly the childishness stopped. Moderation tools really can be effective.

Also, deleting posts just hides what really happened. If someone acted inappropriately, there's no reason to erase it. Maybe it would be worth hiding, but people should see exactly why it is these two got banned, so that they know how to avoid getting banned in the future -- even if it's only temporary.

James never sent me a PM about this, if anything I sent him a PM a few days ago about how she would not stop with the drama, his response PM was something like "Im going to bed i'll check it tommorow."

Im done posting anything else on XD untill my ban is lifted, if it ever is.. You know since im being punished.:)

I only read 2/3 of the last page, but I guess I don't see what the ejection was for either. If you can be booted for antagonizing a boring-*** conversation, then I guess everyone in there deserves a ban. Otherwise, just lock the thread and move on.

For all I know, there may have been more going on behind the scenes that I don't know about. I've interacted with Super on several occasions about other bs, and I trust him to be a good judge.

Regardless, the real shame of that thread was that it was like listening to a broken polka record - nothing but lame crappy sound repeated over and over.

I don't see how your post has any more relevance than anyone else's. You're guilty of the same if all our responses were pointless. You should follow your own advice sometime.
