I am TIRED!

last night after work (8am-5pm shift) i was watching tv and fell asleep at about 630. woke up about 1030pm went down, got some dinner, got some stuff done. about 2 i tried to go back to sleep...no luck. get out of bed about 3, get some more laundry done, try to go back to sleep about 4, no luck. i finally said **** it, hop online, do some other stuff until i gotta be to work at 8. made breakfast, etc etc etc. get to work at 8, by 10 im feelin tired already.

its now 430, i wont get out of here for another 1/2 hour, and then i gotta run a couple errands and wont be home til probably 630. hopefully i can go to sleep and i gotta work 8am tomorrow...so say i get to sleep at 7pm tonight, i will have been up for 36 hours with a total of 4 hours of sleep...maybe not a lot to some of you but i am WAY too tired to be here. its to the point the bottom of my legs hurt when i sit down, my arms hurt, my eyes hurt

Aaron can probably give you some good advice on insomnia, personally I'm on heavy meds at the moment, so I've got it under control...in a way.

i go on 3-4 day "benders" of no sleep where i just play games and watch tv. its not that im on caffiene to keep me awake, i mainly just drink gatorade now.

one thing that ive found to help put me back on a set sleep schedule is to stay up all night and past the tiredness and go to bed around a time when i would wake up at a scheduled time. IE: i need to wake up at 3am to go to work and be there by 5am. so, i stay up all day and night a day or two before and go to sleep around 5pm or so and set my alarm for 3am. then when the time comes for me to wake up at 3am to go to work, then im up and ready to go.

actually, sexual activity is supposedly a proven way to get yourself tired. reading in dim light will also strain your eyes and help out. So, maybe looking at porn the old fashion way (on paper) in dim light will really hit the spot Ha

I'm not gonna lie, I'm one of those guys that goes into a coma after sex. Choking your own chicken somehow doesn't have the same effect, at least for me. You're so used to your own body that most of us can probably bust a nut in less strokes than Tiger Woods in a game of golf.
