Who here has them? Can you make a DIY on how you put them in? I know how to get them out, I know where all the screws are but its a bit*h with the bumper on and I dont wanna take the bumper off.

I know it's a pain to do it with the bumper on and a breeze to do it with the bumper off.

That's what I understand from Kyrol and the other person who put them on.

Yeah I figured that.. Im pretty sure im just gonna take my bumper off, its much easier to do it that way then to squeeze my hands in that little space I have behind the bumper.

easy either way just a few more things to do if you arent comfortable with taking the bumper off or have paint issues like i do

Its gonna be such a b*tch to change the bulb on the drivers side fog because the housing is longer on the KDM fogs.

the housing looked the same size if not smaller to me but then again i didnt really pay attention

From what I saw it was longer.. The passenger fog I'll be able to change the bulb with no problem, but the drivers I think im gonna have a issue.

Did you have to aim yours at night when you got them?

Also the quality of these is GREAT.. There made so well and the lens in glass.

The housing in the back of the fog light is different than stock. Before with the stock, you could technically change the bulb by laying down under the front bumper. Somewhat difficult that way, but possible. With the KDM fogs, it's almost impossible to do it the same way.

If you don't want to change your bulbs too often, you might want to consider getting a voltage stabilizer. A lot of people think it's one of those useless, expensive mods, but ever since I've installed that none of my bulbs have burnt since. I don't even know if it increases horsepower or gas mileage like it claims, but the fact that it has saved me from replacing bulbs and the time it takes to replace it has been well worth the money. My headlight bulbs used to go out every 2 months, fog lights every 6 months. I got the one from Sun Auto, which was the first company to come out with something like that, but you can find generic ones for much cheaper.

The passenger KDM fog I can still change the bulb with the bumper on, as for the drivers side.. I'll figure something out so I dont haveto take the bumper off, but I dont need to worry about that because they have no bulbs in them. I just hope they dont blow out

by the way, did your KDM projector fogs come with the OEM bulbs already inside of them?

yea i need to get this as well... you''ll see a few benifits from having a "real" voltage stabilzer... like the ones sun makes...those are nice and like he said would help your bulbs last alot longer.... whatever you do if you get one stay away from the cheap knock offs on ebay... they will do more harm than good.. go with sun!!! :D

I also never had to aim mine. Is it even possible? On mine, I noticed that the fitment of the KDM fogs aren't as snug as the original US spec.

yup its possible... from what i remember the instead of the adjuestment thingy being on the top its on the bottom. but it could be the other way around.. either way it isnt that hard to do. as far as the snug thing goes...you can get some of the stuff that you put around the fender to line the area where the fog lights are and that will make them snug. :D

I sprayed about 4 coats of nightshade on them, but IMO they came out like sh*t so I stripped it off.
