silverstars dont last long....most times once one goes the other is right behind and i know this isnt due to touching the bulb cuz i went through 2 pairs before i said screw this. If your looking for light output silverstars are great but they dont last long. If your looking for color with less output then go with this company called luminic bulbs...they have blue(ricer) yellow ( wanna be rally car) and purple(wanna be hid) but they all look great and last hella long

Don't know if i have to start a another thred, but, Can you adjust the hi's and the lows are does it adjust it all with that one spot on each side? my lows seem a little low so id adjust them up and the brights way to high...
PS. I brought this up cause "A&F 01 GLS" said he could see so well with his brights..

Behind the headlight is 2 screws, one adjust the regulars and one adjust the highs.

my silverstar lowbeams on my kia optima have been in for around one year, and i usually leave my lights switched on (so they blink on when i start my car, just like on elantra's)... i'm happy with them; whenever my wife's factory bulbs burn out, i'm putting silverstars in the elantra...

Im sorry to be mean about this but it is a known fact that if you leave the lights on yes elantra will shut them off and when you turn the car on it will turn the lights back on but this is reallly bad for the bulbs and you kill the life span of the bulbs as well.... oh yes and dont think it doesnt kill hid kits as well folks

that's why i commented on it... don't know why i can leave my lights switched on and not burn out my silverstars, when everyone else seems to have silverstars die on them... one month, six months, that's crazy with the premium price of these bulbs. i guess i'll find out eventually how long silverstars last in my wife's elantra. btw, my wife usually switches the lights off, i usually leave them on city lights or lowbeams, whatever i had them on while driving; the factory bulbs are going on 14 months.

w/ my h1s i can see pretty far and i have a way to never pay for my silverstars.. but i'll keep it off the forums.. i'm kind of satisfied w/ them even tho when they burn out which will prolly be this summer i'll look like a douche for about a day or 2... and i rarely ever keep my head lights on during the day..
Might i also add.. i'm still on my first pair of high beams for silverstars.. maybe those are the only good bulbs they make  i put them in.. i'd say.. last summer... so a full year.. WOOHOOO!!!
