I am finally able to run about 35 pounds in my tires since I got the 215-45-17's. With the 205-40's, I had to keep over 40 in them to keep the tread from squirming. Now, with the new ones I can run a lower pressure and improve the ride quality. I can't say enough about the new tires!

Have you started rubbing yet when you have someone else in the car with you?

In the sedan I dont think he will rub. My hatch rubbed with 215/45/17 but I think i had the wrong offset too

Nope. I had a full load this weekend, and no problems at all.

Did rolling the fenders fix your problem? Or did you have to go with the 205-45's?

In a way I miss the stockers because I never worried about the potholes too much. Once you upgrade though all of a sudden you notice every nook and cranny on the road! I hope I never bend my rim from a pothole. $500 for a rim plus the tires is an expensive fix!

Good luck! Just watch out and you will be fine. The wheels will hold up to some but you just dont wanna hit any grand canyon potholes which anyone else that lives in PA will understand what I mean!

You're taking 18" wheels onto the island?...good luck. Drive really slow and stay off the dirt roads, otherwise you'll be cleaning red clay out of them for weeks. Why you headed down there anyway? Nothing good ever came out of PEI, well except me.

Yeah and me too, born and raised in Charlottetown. Well I got here fine, did 160 km/h the whole way, rims are still in perfect shape...
