is this a good HU to get? ima need something for my del sol as ill be moving my subs over to it when i get it back...i aws just wondering if anyone here had or has any Lanzar heads or other equipment...at last check they had 16 left of this one...

I had a friend get that HU and it works OK, but he was bummed it would not play WMAs and his whole collection was ripped to WMA. FYI

Note that it says it too, must people take wording like "CD/MP3/CD-R/CD-RW Playback" to mean it will play WMAs and all ripped music. This one will only play mp3 though like stated.

Otherwise it is a OK unit.

i dont like how WMA is encoded...so the only things i have in WMA aren't stuff id listen to in the car anyway...lol

Lanzar is pretty terrible, i dont tihnk youre going to get a lot of play out of that headunit. Try and stick to brands like Pioneer, Eclipse, and Kenwood Excelon for headunits, especially if youre going to be running subs and possibly building a system. Pioneer will last 10x longer then a lanzar unit.

^^^Argeed. Run from that. I run only Clarion and/or Alpine and have yet to be disappointed. Those units will not last.
