does anyone know where to get real computer chip and module for an elantra instead of the generic modules that just bypasses your cts that you find all over the place

no computer chips per say, you would have to remap your ecu, which = big $$$
dont trust any kind of chip on ebay. Theyre all Radio Shack resistors.

It's pretty funny that anyone thinks they can reprogram their ECU when a) the automaker has has already optimized the ECU for overall performance, b) you don't know what all the inputs and output parameters are, and c) Hyundai isn't keen on letting you know.

Yes Doohickie, the ECU is tuned for 'optimized performance' but there are some here (not me) that would rather have a few more ponies, by sacrificing a few mpg on the sliding scale. Nothing is free - generally if you add to one catagory, you have to take away form another.

i would settle for 15mpg if it got me 20 exyta hp's.
Not me. I did the 15 mpg thing with my Blazer and that gets old quick with $3 a gallon gas.

sooo true...I had a v8 dakota....until I wrecked it...and the mpg sucked
and to stay on topic..go ahead...by one of the so called chips on ebay...
and when your done kicking your self in the @$$ after you get it....call me so I can laugh at you
