You cant get them.. You can do one of 2 things.. Take the yellow lens out and leave it like that.. Or buy the KDM headlights which comes with the clear lens.

you may as well just open ur headlight and just take the piece out...why pay the 235 for the KDM ones....just for the lil clear piece....and its an easy enough DIY

Tell us how it works out. I might be doing that DIY this summer, and i want to know if there’s any tough spot or kinks.

hate to revive a loooong-dead thread, but i have a question...
do you have to take the headlight assembly apart to take out the amber turn signal cover? or is there another easier way?

you have to take it out....separate the front(clear) from the back(black) and then take out the amber plate. Its not so hard.

Andy and I used a heat gun on my headlights when installing my angel eyes..it doesn't take too long.
I'm with Silver on this one...I just didn't want to stick my headlights in an oven.

I just did this. I used the directions similar to the DIY for headlight painting (http://www.elantraxd.com/DIY/headlight.php) to get them apart, except: The only parts I removed from the headlamps before putting them in the oven were the bulbs themselves, and I set the oven to 225 F.
I preheated the oven, went out to the car and removed one headlight and put it in the oven, went back to the car and took the other headlight out, took the first one out of the oven and put the second one in. The headlight coming out of the oven can be handled with bare hands, but avoid the little metal bits; they will be HOT (but they won't burn your skin with short contact). I pried one of the clips with a screwdriver, put one in to hold it open and then just did each clip in turn, working my way around the assembly. Once I got it apart, there are two screws that hold the amber in; very easy to remove. As soon as it was out I put the housing back together and everything closed up tight. Then I did the other headlight, then put everything back together.
I worked slowly and deliberately; it took about an hour and a half from start to finish. I replaced the white bulbs with Silverstar 1156 bulbs.

do you have to heat up the glue when you put it back together? do you have any leaking or condensation problems now?

It was still tacky so I just put it back together. No fogging of the headlights as of yet. Remember that it only takes a few minutes to take the lens out so it was still pretty warm (but not hot) when I put it back together. I've heard that some people have done this just by letting it sit in the Texas sun and didn't use an oven at all, which I would think only raises it up to about maybe 150 F.
It's kind of intimidating to think about; you don't want to mess anything up. But after doing it, it's more like, "Oh, that was it? That was no biggie."

I paid $10 for the pair at.... Pep Boys or O'Reillys or something like that.
For the fronts, use 1156 bulbs.

i heated the glue back up just to make sure it would all be closed up nicely again, my buddy did not heat it back up when he did his accent and his headlights were always fogged during winter.... i did mine by myself in a half hour and no problems ever with them, did this almost 2 years ago now. as far as the bulbs i ordered them off of the sylvania website which you can find the link for on www.evofusionusa.com
