Hi,

I'm following this DIY (Installing OEM spoilerdepot spoiler) (http://www.elantraxd.com/DIY/oemspoiler.php) for an Elantra 2001. Does anyone know how to reach the wires of the 3rd brake light located in the rear dash so I can hook up the spoiler's brake light?

Thanks!

The trunk comes wired for the spoiler add-on. Look on the under side of the trunk.. it hidden behind on of the supports... tap into it there and save yourself the headache. It already wired to the factory male/female connector so depending on your spoiler (factory or not) you may need to cut off the connector and make your own connection.

That's what I read somewhere, but this morning I was looking at the trunk and didn't find any wires. I'll search for them again. The spoiler's wires don't come with a connector, so I guess I'll have to bridge them and make my own connection.

Adrian.
