My sister and I are going on a road trip halfway across the country in her 05 Elantra tomorrow. We're bringing along the 2 things anyone needs on a road trip, radar detector, and an iPod w/ cig lighter charger. She has the cig ligher jack, and then right under it, the 12v power outlet/cig jack. We have 2 items to plug in. If we remove the cig lighter, is that just a regular 12v jack we can use for either the radar detector or iPod, or do I need to bring along a splitter for the bottom jack? I'd try it myself, but don't want to **** anything up. Thanks.
