HU install help

I need some help. I'm trying to isntall a new headunit to my car. How do i get the freakin dash off this thing? I'm able to pull it out alittle, but the climate control won't budge an inch. There must be another way to do this then. Any ideas anyone?

1997 Elantra by the way.

Here is one post re dash. Just search for "remove dash" or something similar. :)

Now im assuming the thread is for a newer model of the elantra since the climate control isnt pulled out with the dash like it is with the 1997 model. I already read that and its no help. Thanks anyways though, lol

there's instructions for it in the Hayne's manual I have, but I don't really want to type several pages of information... if you have a specific question, I'll help you out.

Maybe this is all you need:
pry the dashboard light control out of the bezel.(top left, near ignition) Remove the screw in the light control opening and at the base of the bezel. Detach the bezel and pull it out, then disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the bezel.
