How do you get that black ECU Cover off?

I have done most of the install for the Tib multi guage. The only part Im struggling with, is installing wires 1, 7, and 5. I know that all 3 correspond to spots on the ECU plug, under the console. I cut the zip tie off, but how do you get the black cover off. Am I supposed to pull, slide, etc etc? Im lost. I noticed that on one side of the thing, there is a small black piece that comes out. I dunno if Im supposed to pull it out, as that is not listed in the DIY.

Any help would be wonderful.

LOL Nvm, re-read it.

Damn it is hard to install. The DYI is for an 01 GLS. I have an 01 GLS, but I have wires in ECU spot #6 (brown) and #7 (white w/ dashes).
