Heyo
I have an 05 Kia Spec5. I have talked alittle with Doohickie in the Kia-forums. And thought I would show up here and take alook at what mobs, parts, and other gear that is coming out that maybe I can transfer over to my car. I have a few mods done already:
KFX CAI (evofusion)
KFX Strut Bar
KFX Rear Sway bar
Custom Grounding kit
Painted Engine Heat Shield
Debadged front/rear
Adjutable Lowering springs
Window visors
Roadruns Front grill
TB mod
Silver Gauge Apperance Kit
Waiting for install:
4-2-1 Headers
Coming as soon as I rebuild funds:
Tinting
Cat-back Exhaust
Reprog ECU
P&P Intake
Also have some seat covers waiting for install and a OBX Underdrive Pulley. And hope to look for more things in the future.

there really should be more spectra owners here and perhaps a spectra subforum since the New Spectra is based alot off of the XD2....

That's a really sharp looking car. Great job.
Looking at that car I wish Hyundai had made a wagon version of the Elantra as well.

Well here is a new pic of th engine bay for now. Disconnected the hose from the engine to the intake for summer and added a filter. Also painted the ends for the strut bar. More to come next weekend I am home. Looking at finally installing the headers and maybe my under drive pulley.

I know I've already commented on the awesomeness of your car, but your car really makes me want to go look at Kias now for my next car.

I thought I would end up with Spectra last year before I found an Elantra I liked; I think I may have suggested starting a Spectra sub-forum last year.
Now that we have a Kia guy around, I guess I gotta watch what I say about Kias!!! :D

Picked up the belts for the under drive pulley today. Will get the pulley and belts on this weekend. And the Header I hope! I also raised the rear about half an inch to give me alittle less jolting ride doing 80+ down I-79 here in PA.
Thanks for all the kind words. I thought about getting the tibby with the 2.0 when I was looking at cars. But is was more of a joint desicion with the wife due to it being smaller and that she liked the 05 Sportage more the the Tuscon.
Though I think I would of been less incline to start moding the tibby then the spec5 for some reason. But in the end I am having alot of fun mod'ing. Just wish for more support with parts lol
PS July 6-14th or so i will be in buffalo, ny with my car working in the area if there are any other members up there would be great to do a meet maybe just get a few burgers and a drink or something.

Not the best PICS they are from my phone!
Here are the headers I bought awhile back used. I finally got them installed and omg it was a pain in the arse! I had to remove the power steering bracket to get the header on.

And, here is the Underdrive pulley. Used the DIY from here and belt numders but the AC belt still seemed too long so I just ran it on the other side of the tension pulley. Been fine for awhile. Here is the pic:
