Well I decided to re-paint my interior. First off, I never used a clear coat originally so the paint was unprotected. Also, if you notice on the "Before" pics, the area on the door panel that surrounds our tweeter, window switches, and door handle should have originally been painted to match the dash fascia since they are supposed to flow with each other. I didn't realize that until I was done painting and didn't want to go through that mission again. In the "After" pics you will see what I have done so far. Everything will be repainted so I will definitely post more pics. Now, since I am now painting the surround Burgundy, I am going to have to change the leather on the door panel from Burgundy to black. I am just not sure as to what material to use. I was thinking of using Black Suede. What does everyone think? Opinions are welcomed...Enjoy the pics, there are lots of them. Also remember, I took the "After" pics with my 1mp camera phone so it doesn't do it much justice. But I will add pics on a real digi-cam during the weekend....

reece used black velvet (i think) on that cloth section of the door. it looks pretty good. i think the burgundy with the black and black surrounds will look good. but of course i'd like to see better quality pics and some pics from far away.

I'll take some better pics this weekend. As for the far away pics, I will try to take the same pics as in the "Before" pics

is your car rally red? the pics make your interior look pink as well as make it look like you have pink tint.

the above picture looks really good, and if your interior looks like that, then sweet!

Normally I don't like interior mods, especially painting pieces. But your's looks pretty good. And I like where you put the Elantra badge. Nice touch.

Yes, now i'm doing it the right way. As for the interior looking pink, I think your monitor is a little off. My car is chianti red (Burgundy). So this is the color to match the exterior.

his car isn't rally red. its burgundy. like my color but darker. the tint might look purple because its starting to fade or just because it was taken with a camera phone. the guy does have limo tint anyway!

It's going to take me a while since I don't have much time. Hopefully I will get a lot accomplished this weekend. Here are new pics with it installed. What a difference huh?
