hey guys, havent actually picked up the car to have a read in the manual yet as i just bought this car this morning from the dealer.

just a little confused as to what this little slot is (circled) it says next to it, insert card or something... im a noob sorry. my first car.

It's just a handy little slot with a spring inside to hold tickets etc... like on a toll road where you pick up the ticket at one end and pay it at the other

Except in Canada it looks more like this :D

We get the ticket holder and the USA gets passenger occupancy light for the air bag.
I reckon we got the better deal as they have been having problems with detection on light-weight passengers not activating the system :)

Man, an air-bag light would **** me off so much.
There are many things I'd like from the USA elantra style though, don't get me started.

Yeah, it's a card holder.

Many of us NA market guys have them. In XD GLS's they replace the dash blanks. Many XD GT people don't buy them because it would replace the TCS/rear wiper button.

On the XD2's they replace the air bag activated light.

hah, my girlfriend doesnt weigh enough to keep the light off, it is so so annoying,.

I have an XD and I just have a blank. Didn't even know there were options not mentioned to me when I bought mine. lol

Huh? What option? On the XD a card holder or a passenger air bag light aren't options.

u have an XD they got blanks - the xd2 got the light. If you want a card holder I have one I'll sell u.
