In all seriousness though I love history, it's just a pain the rear to do this research prospectus. I'm a little bored with it at the moment, so I'm taking a break here.

I graduated over a year ago with a BA in History.

I wrote my thesis on H.L. Mencken's writings of the American South. 28 pages. 17 sources and 90 foot notes.

It's probably the writing I'm most proud of through my years of high school and college.

Korean war? Ehh, modern history never peaked my interest. Good luck.

I got it done late last night and handed it in today. Luckily it won't get graded because he's only assigning a grade for our completed paper due in 5 weeks.

I'm doing research on the fall of MacArthur and the reaction among the military ranks. At least that's what I wrote in my prospectus. I meet with the prof on thursday to find out if I have a green light.
