I just built one off the Hyundai site and sent the thing off to my local dealer. I'm a little pissed though. When I was building it I found out you can't get the ABS, traction control and moonroof with the manual transmission. What's up with that?!

Anyway, hopefully I'll hear back from them soon and then I'll go see what they'll give me for trade-in.

Don't blame Hyundai, blame it on the consumer. Hyundai owners are probably the most thrifty so the percentage of owners wanting to have the total package is very small. For them it makes perfect business sense.

Just get a GT and those options WILL be present...

I would go for the GT, but I need to keep my payments as low as possible. One of the reasons I got a Hyundai in the first place.

Well sorry then, it's the only ways you can get your ride the way you want it :(

Why not go for a used 05 or 04? Low milage, etc.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound pissy. I might look into it. I'm gonna go up to the local dealership tomorrow to see what they have.

Well I just got an e-mail from the local dealership. The closest GLS hatchback with blue paint and a manual transmission is over 250 miles away. So looks like I'll be waiting.

when i go car shopping, they always tell me they can find the car i want and get it sent there...try and see if the dealership can get that car sent to them and buy it from them.

they'll usually do stuff like that to sell a car

He didn't seem like he wanted to do that. I haven't exactly had the best relationship with this dealership. For the most part they have been ok, but for the most part I haven't been completely pleased. A couple of people I've met from the area have suggested another dealer. It's a little farther, but they have better service or at least so I'm told. I gotta save up a little anyway, so I'm just looking right now. I just wanna get one before I'm not able to. Unless I get an 06 VW Rabbit instead.

I've never tried ordering one off the net before was it easy to setup or more like an inquiry post to a local dealership? Are you pre-approved/approved during the online process?

It's basically you telling the dealer exactly what you want and that you're interested in buying a new car.
