Long story short, my fiance just bought an '01 Tiburon. She loves it, I love it. Only one problem - the first owner put a "louder is cooler!" type exhaust on it, and we'd like to change it to something reasonable. Only problem is that NO auto parst stores around here have anything of the sort. All they have are loudening mufflers, if anything. Not even OEM. And I'll be darned if I pay dealership pricing for an exhaust system when I replaced the cat-back on my old truck for $120ish in parts and some quality time underneath.
So please, please, does anyone know where I could get an efficient yet quiet muffler for an '01 Tiburon.

You can search on www.newtiburon.com for someone who is selling their stock cat-back.
Most people who upgrade their exhaust have no use for the stock parts.. you just buy that, then either swap the stock system yourself, or take it to a shop and have them do it.
It can't cost more than 1hr of labor to do something as simple as this even if they have to weld the collector back on...... =)

www.rdtiburon.com dont go on newtiburon.com as they all have 03-06 tibs. rdtiburon.com im SURE you will find someone within a couple days to sell you one...offer them about 50$ shipped and you should get it...make sure it still has the flange/pipe attached so you can just bolt it on and go...take you about 1/2 hour MAX
