View Full Version : Who knows where I can find one of these?
Guys, I need a replacement dash storage piece, the piece that is underneath the factory radio... when I got my CD player installed the dude chipped mine. I'm kind of upset...
Where can I find one of these? Anyone have one they took out and are not using?
Thanks,

Prolly should have posted this in the marketplace forum instead with a title something like WTB: Dash radio storage bin or something like that.

Welcome to the site Snap.
There are a couple options. What year Elantra do you have? You can use the empty "hole" piece that came standard on the 01-03's. Or you can use the piece that came on the 04-06's with or without the "door" on it. This piece tends to work and look better with aftermarket head units.
www.hyundaipartsonline.com may be the first place you want to look.
Thanks SuperGLS,
My Elantra is an '04. I couldn't find the part on the site you suggested. Do you think maybe a Hyundai dealer could order one for me? I really would like to replace my chipped one.
Any more suggestions?
Thanks guys,

a lot of aftermarket headunit install kits come with the mounting hardware for a new pocket. just go to an audio place and look for one.

Also, you have several options for that bin, as shown in this post (http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showpost.php?p=198729&postcount=13).

Yep. I've linked to that information many times. Maybe it should be pinned?
