I just traded the Elantra in and bought a left over 2005 XG350L.. Its been a honor being a part of the elantra community since 2001 and its been a honor owning 2 elantras since then.

I will post pictures of the new car ASAP.. I will also post here still since I have so much information to share.

Yeah I didnt wanna trade the elantra in but I felt it was time.. I needed something bigger.. I just filled it up and it cost me $47 at $319 a gallon for 89.

What's pricing like on the XG compared to a sonata GLS V6?

We had 1 left over XG(I wish I had jumped on it at the time but thats another story) and it had almost 10k dollars worth of rebates on it.It was like 17,900 out the door or something like that.

Yeah I got a great deal on it.

Ok here is what I think of the car.. Its quick the v6 has balls but I dont wanna get on it to much because it only has 51 miles on it.. I was told to use 89, but if gas prices keep going up which they are again im gonna down grade to 87.. The interior gets a 10, everything is put together perfect.. Unlike the new sonata which looks like sh*t in the inside.. I was gonna consider the sonata but the rear looks to much like the accord and I dont like the rear of the accord.

I still cant believe the elantra is gone.. :(.. I hope whoever gets it takes care of it like I did and those of you who know me know that I took good care of that car and my 01.

As for mods for the XG.. Its not gonna go crazy.. Iv had enough of that, well for now I have. The car came with tint.. I may get some nice chrome 18's for it and MAYBE a in dash TV/DVD player.

I give the XG 2 thumbs up.. Its worth the money and I have got nothing but good comments about it, of course you have the few that say "its still a hyundai" or "why did you get another hyundai?".. Well.. I like them and hyundai has come such a long way since the 80's and there just gonna keep getting better if they keep making cars like they have been making.

u dont like the interior of the new sonata? i love it...i think the car is wonderful...i definately am not a fan of the xg...i dont like how it drives and ESPECIALLY the lag on acceleration...to me its disgusting...ya just my .02

hey rob, my friend just got the same car you did and he loves it also. the dealership gave me a new sonata when my car was in the shop and the xg handles much better in my opinion in the corners

well i guess i like the azera cuz it looks more 'modern' to me...to me the xg looks like a car that a 90 year old would drive in...i love the interior, features, power, less lag from the damn throttle sensors, and comfort more...i guess im an odd one?

A good friend of mine bought an xg, it rides nice andits quick but i hate the exterior, and interior styling of it, the interior has all that nasty turtle wood trim ewwww.

Iv owned a 01 gls and a 03 gt sedan and I enjoyed them both, but the XG brings it to another level. Every person who has seen it says nothing but good about it, I think the whole styling of the car is perfect.

As for pictures.. Iv been working alot so I havent had time, but i'll try tommorow or tuesday.

As for the Azera.. Im not feeling it at all and if I wanted to get that with all the options the XG has, I would have paid ALOT more.

I wouldn't mind having a V6 but with the mid-sized V4's that are coming out, its not worth the extra gas for me (accord v4, sonata v4, galant v4... all pretty sweet engines). LOL of course the leather in the XG is gonna be better then the XD.. The car is a big step up from the XD. ;)

As for the v6.. Im getting pretty good MPG with it. Iv had a v8 and 2 4cyl so I figured it was time to go with a v6

The only thing that bothers me with this new car is that when I picked it up it had no gas in it.. Haha
