So my husband went to go fill up at the local gas station, to his astonishment the tank it self read $1.29 per gallon. After filling up and printing out the receipt he went inside to get a soda and mentioned it to the cashier. The cashier had no idea she keyed in the wrong price, so from 6am - 8am everyone was getting gas at $1.29 instead of 2.89 that was supposed to be keyed. :D
If only he didn't mention it to the cashier

That happened here in baltimore, except it was entered at cents a gallon. People were filling up, and calling there family & friends. Now the station is trying to get those people to pay what they should have paid.

**** did you see when people where getting plane tickets from NY to LA for like $20 round trip? This lady bought like 50 for her family to go to Disney land and the airline tried to charge her full price for it and I think she ended going on a talk show or a news show to talk about it. When I jumped on the site they had already fixed it. D A M N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kind of feel bad for the lady that made that mistake. Unless it is family owned and operated, she may be pretty screwed when the owners find out that she charged that amount.

How are they possibly going to do that? It's their mistake. The customers paid the price for the advertised item. Wrong price? Oh well! Sucks to be a dumbass!

Gas here in the LA suburbs is about $3.13 for the Valero stations and in Rancho Cucamonga where I work it's roughly the same at the Chevron I frequent. Although it seems it's hovering around $3.20 in most places.
Companies with the larger box shaped trucks and stuff that ran on unleaded about a month ago were pulling them into the buildings for the night because jackasses were syphoning the hgas out of them at night. =(

On the ScreenSavers(techtv) they had a guy who came on who hacked the Mobil/Exxon ez pass signal. He created this thing that would imitate an ez pass signal, allowing you to use the pump for gas.
