from what i've read in other forums w/ members from California it will soon be illegal to drive period due to all the laws. <sarcasm>

Illegal lights, whether or not they are operating. It is illegal just to have them on the vehicle (24003 VC). LOL!!!

Driving with just parking lights on (24800 VC). WTF!?!?!?! Send me to jail

actually all those rules are broken and the cops here (atleast here in san diego) don't care unless they are in a really pissy mood and you could most probably talk your way out of the ticket anyway

haha, true. i've actually managed to talk my way out of a number of violations. my big problem is that a lot of the senior Marines in my reserve unit are CHP or city cops, and i REALLY dont want to risk getting pulled over by any of them. I jsut kind of lucked out, and one of my old highschool buddies' uncles works in a shop on University ave. in a strip that does basically all kinds of auto stuff, and they are really knowledgable on whats legal, illegal, and what you can get away with in SD.
