I forget if I posted here or not about this, but I'm pissed off. I've had the same screen name for a couple years and don't wish to change it, but I'm having some problems. It won't let me change the password registered to it, it won't let me format the screen name (change the caps of the letters), and it won't let me change my password.

I made a 2nd screen name to use when I'm dicking around with people, and I just went on that screen name and it works fine. So it's just MY main screen name that has the problem. What the hell?

Also, what messaging programs do you recommend? Don't care about MSN or Yahoo, because I like my AIM screen name, but if there's another program out there that works with AIM I'd like to hear about it. I've tried Trillian and AIM, maybe I just need to get used to them, but I wasn't too sure when I was messing around with them.

Suggestions? Or possibly any answers to how to fix my problems on AIM? Yes, I reinstalled and completely removed it from my hard drive about a dozen times.

Did you try ICQ? I like that program, it's easy to use...

I forget the name of the service, but there is one where you can add friends no matter what program they are using. Say you are on aim, you can still talk to people on yahoo, icq, etc.

there is one that is an online program that can be found @ www.meebo.com and then there is trillian and also gaim
