What can I expect to pay for an 01-03 GT Hatch. I now have an 03 GT sedan automatic. My wife as a 00 accent that we are going to sell along with a 94 civic and we are going to start shopping around for a hatch but we want it to be a manual. I live in Pensacola where imports carry a premium price tag for some reason but I'm planning on going down to Miami to purchase it. This all depends on how fast we sell the other two cars, but what have you found GT hatch's in decent shape to be selling for?

a dealer wanted about 9k for an 02 blue auto, has a funny smell, turned to the right, airbag light was on, fog light was burn out, no sunroof,

another one wanted about 13k for an 02 auto, blue, sun roof, low miles

but this was last year tho

I paid 8k for an 01 GT 2 years ago with 45k miles from a dealer (5 speed)

Paid 6,500 for my 02 GT 5speed with 62k miles on it last year (private owner)

I see a big difference as far as where you buy the cars though. Here in Pensacola, truck are predominantly cheaper and imports are insanely expensive. My roommate got a 99 accord v6 coupe with leather, sunroof, auto for $5000 in Miami when I regularly see them selling for $7k+ in this area. I've found a couple of GT hatches 02 for about $5-$6k but i've tried car shopping through autotrader before and either you get there and there's a catch or the car is gone.

Even though mine isn't a GT, I figured I'd chime in.

A month ago I got an 01 GLS, 58k miles, 5 spd, it was in great condition, exterior and interior were amazing, it held the road perfectly, had a full inspection, new set of tires, and came with a full tank of gas as well as the remainder of the 100,000 mile warranty (though I paid a few extra bucks for the warranty).

Costed me 7 grand flat.

In fact, I walked away from this car because I thought it was an 06. As I walked around the front side of the lineup of Elantras, I saw the 01 sticker, and knew it had to be in a price range more to my liking. The previous owner traded it in to the Hyundai dealership to upgrade to an 06 Elantra.

I don't know how different the GLS and GT prices are, but I figured I'd speak up in case it helped at all. I also live in southern Pennsylvania.
