I'm keeping the Elantra. But I'm going to test drive this tomorrow. The wife will probably drive the GLS if I get this.

Be sure to ask who tuned it, and some A/F ratio numbers.

I just pulled up some numbers on Edmunds using information from the Auto Trader ad and got a figure of $13,840.
Doesn't really matter what they've done to improve the vehicle ... it's not worth anything resale.
Although, I'd be concerned with what was actually done to the car and would want to see receipts for any work before I'd even consider buying the car ... providing they drop the price several thousand.
All highway miles ay? Oldest one in the book.

They commute to Austin everyday. Not far-fetched.

^^ Holy crap! They are like 50+ miles on the outside of San Antonio ... that's a 250 mile commute every day? That's a lot of time in the car.

The only way I'd buy an Imprezza used is if:
1. Driven by an old lady
2. completely unmolested (unmodified)
If it doesn't meet both those catagories above, there's a good choice the car was driven hard.

$3500 in mods? Haha, that's like intake and exhaust (probably those hideous wheels, too) for that car. It looks good, though. :)
