Why can't I seem to set the clock in the dash in my 01 GLS? What do you have to do? I'm downright stumped because I tried everything I could think of that would be needed to set a simple clock.
[/shame] :(
just gotta push those three buttons next to the clock. I believe the top button is hour, middle is minute, and bottom is "reset" -- basically sets your minutes to :00. after you're done getting it to the right time.. just leave it alone and it should stay

I usually have to wait as well. It never works when i want to. I have to check it periodically to see if I can change when Im in the car.

I had the dealership replace the clock under warranty for the same reason.

In the 05, the buttons are side-by-side, but the idea is the same. If you've read the owners manual and did what it said and it didn't work, and you have less than 60,000 miles on the car, take it to a dealer and have them fix it under warranty (the 60k warranty is transferrable so it applies even if you're not the original owner).

im pretty sure if you're the 2nd owner the powertrain drops to 5/60 and the b2b is gone

Nope, if you are the second owner, you get the B2b 5yr/60k, but the 10yr/100k power train is gone.

My Elantra EATS headlights like candy. On my fourth set of headlights (total of 8 replacements) in 2 years and 4 months of ownership. Haven't had any problems with the clock, though!
