Why not go with the OEM mats? Or do you want to protect the OEM ones?

Hyundai Parts People (http://www.hyundaipartspeople.com/) has a set of four OEM floormats for $72.25 ... beige or gray, embroidered with Elantra or Elantra GT.
i hate teh hyundai mats...and i want something a little more durable than them (im pretty rough on my interior)

I have the same problem in my Spec5. The mats are really cheap. They are wearing out where my heels are when I'm driving. I've had my car less than 3 months. WTF.

I have the same heel problem. I know certain aftermarket mats come with an extra pad in the heel area but is there anything that can be purchased to apply to that area on the oem mats? When I was looking for something before people recommended using an entire bottle of scotch guard to protect the mat so that may be something to consider with any mat that you buy.

I think when my mats where out I might try Coco Mats (http://www.cocomats.com/Coco-Mats-Story.htm). A little expensive, but I would replace just the fronts since my backs see very little wear. You can get different patterns:

I found out about them in a link from a vintage Jaguar page; apparently this is what was used in Euro cars way back when. If they don't have your car model, you can send them a tracing and they will make it to that. Every set is custom made anyway.
