Possible ghetto mod?

I have a broken third brake light assembly from a Rondeveuz. The only thing wrong with it is that the red plastic is broken. It has about 25 l.e.d.'s that I'm assuming light up white when the red plastic is taken off. So I'm thinking about using it for interior lighting. But where? I'm thinking it could be good hatch lighting. Any other ideas?

how big is it? if you could get another one id say put a yellow/amber lens over them and have LED turn signals :)

edit - just saw you have a hatch...grille illumination maybe?

I just tested them out and they actually light up red...
Not really what I was going for...
I don't really want to use it in the interior now, I only really like blue in the inside. I don't really know if I want to do anything on the outside. It's about a foot long.
