Rear Drink Holder Removal??

Hey guys, i am just looking for a place to put my portable dvd player, and figured it would fit nicely and be tucked away if it was where that pop out drink holder is under the rear seat. How to remove that drink holder? ive tried to pry it out with screwdriver.. will i have to remove the back seat or something? noob :(* ... cheers in advance for any help or suggestions on where else i can place the dvd player.

to remove the drink holder, you first have to remove the base of the backseat...there are 2 bolts on the back, and it just "snaps" in in front (for the seat) then there should be screws to take the cup holder out :)
