Slow?

Has anyone else been experiencing SLOW page loads? It's taking forever for me to open pages on EXD, just wondering if I'm the only one.

the longest thing for me to load is the private messages page...........I click that then open the new posts in another tab, click open all the ones I want and by then the pm page is open

Yeah I noticed that it's been very slow for me also, especially when actually posting the message. It takes a good 30-60 seconds before it shows that the message has been posted.

I thought it was my internet too, since I recently switched to satelitte internet, like yesterday. O well, now I know it isn't just me. :)

everything is back to normal here, I'm also wireless home and it's ok ... still a little slow but it's nothing important IMO

My hosting company recently upgraded their servers:

All new servers utilize Dual Core CPUs, enjoy a minimum of 2 GB DDR2 RAM, and include at least 250GB SATA II or 146GB SAS hard drives. Some Dedicated Servers and all Enterprise Solutions also benefit from Hardware RAID 1 or RAID 10 with 256 MB RAID cache and Hot-Swap hard drives!


I sent them an email a minute ago asking them to take a look into the recent slowdown and to let me know if they could provide any insight. They have great customer service so I should know by the morning what is going on.

I just had EXD give me "page not found" errors the last two times I tried coming here... then all the sudden it's working again? Maybe the hosting company was 'flipping the switch' the same time I was trying to get here... dunno.

I'm on wireless and am constantly switching servers (I live in an apartment) and I haven't noticed anything.
