Should there be damage if all you did was slide through mud?

yeah...hell i was rear ended by a truck and not a mark...granted i was only at like 10mph...but still...
and no the air bags will not deploy...there was no reason for them to.

i thought there would have been damage because the front the the car had bounced up so i had thought that the front bumper would have been gone good thing i havent got a body kit yet though lol
and one more thing i was doing 75 when all that happened soo thats why i was really amazed

Still got the stock tires on? I know in my GT they are pretty slick tires and are not the best tires for rain or snow. I have been much happier since I got some good BFG Traction T/A's.

PUNCTUATION and CAPITALIZATION are your friends. I still can't make out that first post. Something about mud, hydroplaning and air bags.

I'd consider that luck and not the car being "good". I can't see the front end going up in the air 2 feet while just going 75 unless you were in some major winds. I travel to and from Miami all the time which I've been unlucky enough to be caught in the rain on almost every trip, and I typically do at least 80 and not once has my car just lifted like you mentioned.

Thats krazy sh*t doing 75 in the rain!
I was in a frontend crash and the total damage was $3600, if it wasnt for my radiator being smashed i would have driven home. both front lamps, bumper, ratiator, and both fenders were damaged! But the weird thing here is that my airbags didnt deploy :werd: But im bak and my front end looks good

If you walked away from the accident, then the airbags did their job by not going off.

If you ramped the car leaving the road you might want to check for a blown strut.
