I'm gonna bring a camera with me, and try to get some good videos of people singing if I get a good enough spot.

Uhhhh..... For the slow:

I'm going to tape this TO the drive-thru speaker. So when someone is ordering food, it's right there in their face.

Then i'm going to sit about 30 feet away in my car with my scanner tuned in to the drive-thru frequency (so I can hear everything the customers/drive-thru people are saying) and my camera, recording the people who are singing.

Hopefully that clears it up for some of you.

I got about 20 signs, and there are a bunch of McDonalds' on my side of town...

I havn't had any luck finding the Jack in the Box/Burger King drive-thru frequencies yet... Once I do, it's on.

Just did a test run.....

I was just on my way from the bodyshop, and saw a Mcdonalds up ahead... so I decided to test one of these signs out real quick. Sat in the parkinglot for a few minutes scanning for the drive through requency. Found it at 35.04000, or something like that. Then drove around through the drive -thru, ordered an Oreo McFlury, and stuck on the sign...

Go my ****, and parked waiting... The 2nd car to pull up was already some dude sitting there talking about "Why did the chicken cross the road?". So I know the sign works... I was getting really crappy reception for some reason though. It either had something to do with where I parked, this specific location, or cause my batteries are almost dead... Either way, I'm charging up all my batteries right now, tonight is gonna be totally awesome.

I didn't have a whole lot of time, so I left after that. I dunno how long that sign has been on there.... or if it's still there now.

i think you might get 2 cars before somone *****es about not getting a free meal and they complain about the sign and it gets taken down

i think the song one will be better though..

That's why I printed out like 20 of those suckers.... ;) I can do this all night.

Oh yeah, and the problem was definitly with the batteries.

I just cruised by with it fully charged, and it pickedu p the signal perfectly.

I got pretty dark tint... so not they can't see.

Man........ I ****ed up.

I put the sign up at around 1:30AM... It said "Today Only", so all these people kept pulling up and asking if the promotion was over already. That pissed me off. So 20 minutes, and 6 cars later I decided that those were not gonna work that night. It's cool though, lesson learned. I'm gonna change it up for next time, and try it again. Plus I got a few more ideas too.

Ok.. I don't think I can go to this McDonalds anymore.... lol

I pull up today, and they actually had an employee sit in the corner of the parkinglot in his car WAITING for someone to try to stick a sign on. I laughed at that for a little bit, went through the drive-thru and ordered a #1. Got it, pulled into a spot, and started eating... Right as I was about done with my food, I noticed that the employee that was sitting in the car was now talking on the phone and not paying attention at all. I was really close to the speaker box, so I pulled some mission impossible type of **** as I ducked and crawled behind the bushes and stuck one of these on:

Then ducked and covered, and made my way back to my car. Turn on my scanner, and wait for someone to pul up. THE VERY NEXT CAR TO PULL UP, this happens:

Literally 10 seconds later I see 2... yes TWO supervisors walk out, take off the sign, and start walking all around McDonalds parkinglot, and neighboring parkinglot looking for that damn vandal who's been putting these signs on for the past 4 days. I'm sitting there damn near choking on my french fries cause I'm laughing my *** off by the looks of how pissed they were. They were seriously walking around for like 5 minutes. One of them sees me sitting on my car, and starts walking towards me. I'm all like "****..." and drop the scanner under my seat. He comes up, and is like "have you seen anyone put up any signs on our drive-thru speaker?". I'm like "No, I just parked here...?". He goes "when you went through the drive-thru did you see a sign on there?" I'm like "yea.. why?". So he goes, AND I QUOTE "Some little bastard keeps putting these damn signs on, we're gonna need to install some cameras or something now to catch his ***". Man, I wanted to laugh so bad, that I literally stopped breathing or I would have busted out laughing in his face. I think he still noticed it, causeh e kinda gave me a funny look and walked away.

It would be hysterical if I was watching the 11 o'clock news and the anchor says:

"Recently in the greater Houston area, local McDonald's restaurants have been the target of a prankster, fooling customers into singing or telling a joke for free food. Currently there is a $1,000 reward to catch the person responsible for this."

You know I'll be turning your *** in if a reward is given! hahahaha

EDIT: I just watched the newest video and that's freakin hilarious! I've never heard anyone so excited to sing Happy Birthday lol. I wished the McDonald's lady didn't interrupt her so quickly.

I think that he knows it was you, has absolutely no proof and no ability to search your car or anything like that, so he thought quickly and said that they will put cameras up. I doubt that they will do that, I doubt it very much.
