Wrap kits? -anyone ever used or installed them?

I was looking to dress up my interior dash and trim, but don't want to use paint because it always gets so scratched up. My buddy did all his about a year ago and it doesn't look that good now.
So I thought about using a wrap kit, so my question is, has any one here used wrap kits before and what are the do's and don'ts about using them?

Wow, no one here has ever used wrapping rather than painting.
I guess its the more expensive way to go, but more professional way to go also.

Okay I'll look further into it and if I end up doing it, I'll take lots of pictures and put up a DIY.
