for those of you who are interested in whats going on in my life;)

most of you probably recall that i was attending york college last year because of all the crazy dorm pics and such lol. well this upcoming year i have decided to drop out of the school and i have choosen a different route for myself. I have decided to attend lincoln technical institue in columbia, md. i will be staying at my mother's house and communting there monday - thursday. its about an hour drive but that doesn't bother me since it'll cut down on living expenses. i can't wait to start.

not only that but i may be getting a job at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. It'd be a fulltime job right before school. i know many people may say i can't do it and it'll be hard (which i'm not refuting) but if theres anything i've learned about myself its that if i want something enough can i work towards it. The pay would be VERY decent for what my age. starting is 14.5/hr. in a couple months if i get it thered be the chance of a raise . if all goes well i might buy an accent as a communter car for the mileage.

sorry for the long post but i thought i'd just tell everyone what i decided to do with my life. :)

Well, all I have to say is good luck with those plans! It'd be stupid to tell you it'd be hard or anything like that since it's your life and you make the choices. Hope it all turns out well and not too stresfull.

even though i knew all this, good luck

and i still dont see the logic in spending thousands of dollars for a car to save yourself 20-30$/wk in gas..??

You can definately pull it off. I worked a full time job while going to school at UTI full time. It sucks at times, but it's worth it in the end.

The college fund my parents setup for me payed for about 1/3rd of the schooling, then I have around $9000 borrowed through sallie mae that I just started paying back, and about $9000 borrowed from my dad. So I am $18,000 in debt at the moment. Not bad really...

just thought i'd update. i went in for the interview and they liked me but they had all the positions filled but apparently they have a huge turnover rate because of when they do their random drug tests people tend to pass very well ;) so i'm on the top of the list to get called when that happens. so probably in a month or so i'll be working there :)

just thought i'd update. i got a job at national tire and battery over in annapolis,md. The base pay is 6/hour but you get commission based on how many cars you do during the day. He said most of the guys makes about 8-12 an hour. Not bad and its experience i need. The supervisor also said that they can help me with my ASE's which is awesome because i want to try for some before i get done school.

I also got offered a job working at dominos friday and saturday nights. It might be difficult to work out but i think i can do both and go to school. Both supervisors are very understanding so if i need off for any reason (ase test, studying, anything like that) then it shouldn't be a problem at all. :)
