Will an amp melt a .080 thick sheet of acrylic(plexiglass)? I use the amp everyday and it gets to hot to touch constantly. It will be direct contact by the way.

first look for the melting point of plexiglass, doesent really matter how thin or thick it is if the amp is at 200 degrees and it melts at 180.
