FF& Dirge of Cerberus

Hey has anyone else played this game yet? I got it about a week ago (I reserved it several months in advance) and I am halfway through the game (chapter 6) and I was wondering what everyone thinks of it. I myself am not sure how I feel about it, it's not an rpg thats for sure but more like an action game but with ALOT of story scenes thrown in. The cinematics are awesome, almost comparable to advent children but a first person shooter in 3d where you control the camera angle simultaneously with your movement gets confusing at times but the gun customization thing is cool (I got my own long range gatling cannon thing that does jack sh!t for damage but is good for pissing off the enemy lol)

From all the reviews i've read... it does very poorly game-play wise... i haven't played it but if it isnt on par to god of war or re4... well then i think it will suck.. especially coming out of square soft.

Yea, ive read that it wasnt that great. It had stuff for the FF7 fanboys, and beautiful cinemas. But when it came down to the actual gameplay, it was subpar.

Thank goodness there isn't really much to game play, I probably play the action scenes for about 5-10 minutes before a story scene comes into play. I think they should have kept going with the rpg route for ff7, cause I dont know what to feel about this, cause even the storyline kinda seems out of place with all of the action going on.
