Rattling Rear view mirror

Hey all,

Ive got an 01GT and the rear veiw mirror on the windscreen rattles like a *****. Only recently it has started but it is so so so so annoying.... ANy ideas on how to fix it. I was going to buy a new one unitl they quoted me $195 Australian for the mirror from Hyundai Australia.

pull down on it (it will pop out), 2 screws hold the mount in, remove those, get some fabric (i used shop towel torn up), fold it over a few times, CRAM it in there, put mounting clip back on, screw in, install. you just have to get something behind there to keep it from moving

I've done the fabric, cardboard, paper, felt... and nothing stopped it. Just get used to it because it will never totally leave. Sorry.
