Does anyone know where I can find a nice shift knob in full leather, preferably in black, for less than 106. I went to my dealer today and they said the elantra leather shift knob for manual cars is 106 +tax. Does anyone know if the 2001 Tiburon Shift Knob will fit for sure? I have the TWM short shifter, but it fit my stock knob.

Thanks guys.

The leather shift knob has a cheesy plastic shift diagram on it that looks really cheap. I think I'm gonna get a MOMO or something that looks a little cooler than that one...

I want something new, but thanks. Does anyone know what our thread pattern is so I can look for maybe an aftermarket?

One of the KDM places like kSpec or Dreamka4u (or even Seoulful Racing) should be able to get you the shift knob for cheaper. Good luck.

As for other knobs that might work, I recall someone posting about it fairly recently, run a quick search.

I have the 5spd leather shift knob (for the tiburon) and it's pretty nice. And it screws onto the stock shift knob, not sure bout aftermarket short shifters though.

Thanks guys, I never saw kdmstuff.com. I will be getting the leather knob from there.

Thanks for the help.

Anyone tried any of the RAZO universal shift knobs before?

I've tried a universal shift knob in the past and the set screws never could get tight enough and the knob constantly loosened. Very frustrating!

I bought one of the Concepto (http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16832) shift knobs for my car a few months ago. While the thread pattern doesn't fit exactly with my short shifter I do believe it fits on a stock setup. But even with it not fitting the threads near the top I haven't had to re-tighten the knob since I bought it months ago.
