I'm considering doing a little bit of porting/polishing of my throttle body, and I'm curious, what kind of tools are best?
I know using a dremel or rotary tool is my best bet, but what type of bits should I use?
Any suggestions from the people who have done it before? I haven't done this in a looong time, so getting information beforehand seems to be the smartest thing to do.

heres what i did.
dremel with grinding bit. be very careful not to mess up and hit it with the edge of the bit. i did because it was the first time i ever toucehd a dremmel and took awhile to get it nice and smooth. do that until you're satisfied with the results. then take sandpaper and get it as even as possible. next time a wool pad bit to it then take the polishing wheel to it. once thats done take the finer (or is it called thicker) wool to it. clean it off and see if you're satisfied.
i think thats the gyst of what i did. i was kind of doing trial and error to see waht worked since i'd never done anything like that before. let me find the pic of my end result. i keep getting distracted by... certain pictures i ahve on my photobucket trying to find the link.

well to PORT it your gonna need a bigger flapper. otherwise your not really porting it, just cleaning the TB up, and polishing it pretty much.
