Reverse Wire For Gentex Mirror

I've installed these mirrors before, so I'm not looking for installation instructions. What I'm looking for is a good "pick-off" point/wire for the reverse sensor in the mirror. Has anyone found a good source/location for this wire? I hate to have to run a wire all the way back to the tail lights to get this wire... :)

Installed this, yesterday. Don't need the reverse sensing wire, as the Gentex 21 doesn't have this feature.

By the way... Either I'm getting a lot older (true) or this is one car that is not fun to work on routing wiring. No obvious firewall gromet to get the temperature sensor through (finally just drilled a new hole). Getting under the driver's dash takes a contortionist.... :)

Nah there is a HUGE grommet the size of my fist with one little pack of wires going through right in the middle of the FW that I use for my amp wire, boost line, sender wires for oil pres, pyro...
