That ss really have a great sport look. It is So short. Congrats man looks awesome. I think I will do the same. It will be shorter than my current one. How did you feel it? When I first change mine It was so weird. It was like the gear was not in place. How is it man?
Well it's not a homemade shortshifter cause this doesnt shorten the shiftings at all.

Actually it does. Use geometry to figure it out.
Let's say the orginal length of shaft was 10 inches from pivot to head of shifter, and the new one is 6 inches from pivot to head of shifter, and lets say it takes 34 degrees forward to put it from N to 1st.

This is hypothetical, but it's just an example.
There you go ;)

If you take the shifter out, and add length below the pivot ball, it will shorten the shifts even more...

Technically it is a shortshifter. I think you are referring to a short throw shifter, which you would be correct it is not.

..... tighter? less play? dude. all you did was CUT the ****ing shifter. please, let the BS remain out of this at least.
the only reason you feel it being tighter is because you need more force to move your shifter in the gears now.
