storage box under headunit...

soo i got a new headunit and all that good stuff a while back, and when they put the new headunit in, they gave me a new little plastic box, but i dont like it and was wondering if the stock one that came with the car would hook up to the new headunit? anyone tried this before? open to suggestions....

thanks... but i went and tried it, took the whole dash off just to find out it doesnt fit for some reason... so i guess this thread can be closed.... it was a stupid question of me to ask n e ways lol

I had my stock storage compartment below my aftermarket HU for a long time. I now have the GT style closeable compartment under my aftermarket HU.
