Try to save $50 a week and you'll be able to afford it in 2-3 months. It just depends on if you do the work yourself or have someone else retrofit them. You'll save a lot of money by doin it yourself!

$400-$600? Is this doing it yourself or having someone do it for you. Not really that bad of a price considering the Angel Eye's are going for about $350? and they aren't nearly as nice as those.

That price is pretty accurate. You figure $350-450 for the projectors, bulbs and ballasts. Then another $70-100 for some nice shrouds/bezels. Another $150 for a spare set of headlights if you don't want to use your original ones. Then you just need installation materials. But the main factor in price is what projectors you get. Projectors can be anywhere from $130-300 for the pair alone, plus shipping.

But those angel eyes are a rip off for $350. I think they are played out now anyway. I was one of the first ones to retrofit a set of angel eyes back in 2003. But I took them out!

Lemme just say that your car just looks mean in those angle shots with the heads on...especially the third one. Overall I like the front better than the back at this point, though that Remus is sweet.

They are the OEM ones from Korea. They screw right into the place of the grille inserts with no modification. http://www.kspec.com/list.php?ac_id=72&ai_id=546

I was wondering if that piece you painted in the speedometer pops out, and if the front clear plastic piece comes off easily too.

Thanks

^^^Yes. Once you pull the instrument cluster (I think it's only 4 screws, after removing the dash fascia) you have access to the little 'clips' holding the clear plastic and black plastic pieces on.

I like the style of your car a lot. "Nice OEM look" is how I would describe it... no wings, racing stripes, etc, just a nice clean finished look.

Is that a dent in your driver's door beneath the trim, or just funny light reflections?

Looks great. I think you may want to try to do the Angel eyes again since you have the projectors. They should be visable at night. I know it's a PITA. I had also done them but in 2002 but after my accident in 03 I never did them on my new headlights...

Yup, it's a dent. Someone hit it while it was parked a few years ago, and I just didn't get it fixed yet. I may look into doing that before the end of the year! I also want to get the hood repainted because it has some chips on it that are forming rust. One time, a huge *** rock flew off the back of a truck in front of me and bounced hard off the hood leaving a nice small dent and a scratch that went down to the bare metal.
