Let me help Hayden out with the full list of mods (he's a little forgetful, it must be the whole boost thing going to his head :D )
Tubular Exhaust manifold ceramic coated black
Garrett T3 Super 60
Tial 38mm Wastegate
HKS SSQV
Custom downpipe
Wastegate vented to atmosphere (really sick sound)
Intercooler 28" x 8" x 3" (no bumper supports :( )
290cc Injectors
255lph Walbro Fuel Pump
Greddy e-Manage
Greddy Profec e-01 boost controller
AEM UEGO Wideband O2
XTD 6-puc clutch
NEAR future mods:
2.5" Exhaust
Tie in Wastegate dump to downpipe
And increase confidence with car so he can do better than 15.4 at the track on street tires (I forsee 14.7 in the future if he practices a little more) and all on 9.2psi of boost.

We need more pictures that that Hayden. Come on, where's the intercooler pics, and all that stuff.
I know, we'll just wait until this Tuesday. We are taking the front bumper off so I can help you replace the turbo, so we'll get real good pictures then.

Sure did Mr. Smarty Pants :D
Car behave's differently now, better. Still haven't put on the new turbo yet, because the Compressor side of the turbo is much larger than the one on there now. It doesn't fit because of being too close to the block and the wastegate. Hayden's going to have Xtreme Boost create a new manifold for him relocating the turbo in the final location.

I see that i'm the only one who put the IC on the way I did.
I'm taking off the bumper today to check a few things+change my foglight bulbs (lol) so I will take pics of how we mounted everything and hopefully I can get some t-bolt clamps to slap on that thing.

The intecooler isnt being starved of air at all only about 25% of it needs to be open to air and I have mine exactly setup like his and it works great I also had the bumper off so it was fully exposed to see if it would make a diffrence and nothing was noticable!

We were going for a more "stealth" appearance. We have thought about cutting the front bumper for an opening, but there is soooo much space between the bumper and IC, there's really no need. We are going to add a "splitter" to draw more air UP into the bumper, into the IC.

so i guess it works out everyone likes the setup?

if youre going for stealth, paint it black and put some black mesh on the bumper, and lower the IC down. that, or use a DSM SMIC...those are good for ~350whp and will fit into the fender nicely

Actually by painting an intercooler you are just giving it a harder time doing the heat transfer, as paint acts as an isolation.
Painting charge pipes = good.
Painting intercooler = very bad.

^ true. We will eventually lower the IC down, but not sure of what to do with the front bumper.

Here's some updated pics of Hayden's ride. We just completed a host of stuff to it today:

Yeah I was wondering that too. I looked back and yes the whole motor is different. He also upgraded from the OBX to the System upgrade manifold...
I was going to suggest cutting that middle section of your bumper, I had to do the same thing with my bumper. I thought you were going for the stealth look, so why put that turbo badge on the rear?
Setup looks good, need some times now to boast with!

I tried to clean those paint markings off, but I didn't have the right stuff available to completely remove it. But at least they are clean now. And yes, he blew the piston rings on the last motor, which is being rebuilt with forged stuff really slowly.
He overboosted to 22psi on the T3 Super 60, and fried the rings.
Stealth look is out now. He actually wanted the Turbo emblem off of whatever Acura SUV/crossover vehicle that's turbo charged, but I convinced him to get this one. Technically, the "turbo" emblem is supposed to be the only thing on the car, but ran out of time to remove everything. We'll do it in a couple of weeks though.
The OBX manifold is now mine, woo hoo ! ! !
As far as times, he'll still be running 16s:D
(side note: He's still basically learning to drive the dang thing, and for track experience, well, he's got none. If he'd get off his high horse and let me take it down the track, I'm willing to bet a 14.7 run on the tires he's got.)

just had a good luck at the engine shot and holy bastardized vac/boost lines...lol.

^ lol..
What can I say... There's still quite a bit of work to do to it yet, but he's still got some issues to work out too. I've pointed him in the direciton of Mahonroy's (sp) vacuum box for $49, but I'm not sure he's taken the bite yet. I suggested re-routing some of the lines, to clean it up some, and even use some of the wire loom sleeving I've got (black) to hide most of it, but I've had little success there.
As far as those lines running over the valve cover goes, I've got an idea, but some input would be more than welcome. The MBC needs to be as close to the EWG as possible. So what I'm thinking is that he gets the turbo tapped and a nipple fitted in there. He can then take vaccuum line from there to run to the EWG, and include the MBC there, removing it from the top of the engine, and even tying it somewhere on the radiator support. Additionally, I'm not too fond of the different sizes of vaccuum lines. I feel that 1 size vaccuum line should be utilized throughout the entire system, do you guys agree?
Jim, thanks for the info on cleaning off the markings, I'll mention it to him the next time I talk to him.
Sorry for me doing all the communicating, but he doesn't have internet access right now, nor does he have his computer (he broke it, I'm fixing that too).

I gotta ask though, why the RRFPR? Wont that throw a f*ck sandwich into the stock ECU when it comes to fuel control? Also did you guys convert the fuel system to a return setup?
I know how much work there is to get an engine bay setup just the way you want it, its taken me all summer to get mine this far and ive still got a whole winter of work while the engine and tranny are out.
I see that the vac line between the IM and valve cover is still hooked up...I must be the only schmuck with that unhooked am I?

RRFPR: Really, it's the only way to control the fuel right now. He's got 400cc injectors, and well, they are too big. The 290's are too small. Yes, the RRFPR is connected to a return line back to the tank (actually, it's connected to the fuel filler neck, the best place for it IMO). He's got the NEO to control fuel, but while he was here, I tried my best to tune it even more, but it's not doing everything that is needed.
Why remove the "vac" line between the IM and the valve cover? Isn't that the PCV system?
He is running a blowthru maf set-up.How does the car like it.I always thought the maf meters on our cars didn't like the blowthru set-up

Yes its the PCV system but you dont want to be pressurizing the system any more that it already is, thats how you blow seals.

kewl....if you check EvolutionMR.net....on there car....they painted the intercooler flat black and acutally gained 9+ hp at the wheels....
the flat back gives more surface area because its not smooth like gloss paint...also sport compact did an article on that and they gained a bunch of HP by painting it....flat color of course.
