We (kennef and I) got them wired up today. We ended up wiring them into the multifunction (turn signal/headlight) switch. During the day I you can't really see them all that much but at night they look cool. Here are some movies of the left and right sides, then the hazards, then a shot from behind one of the mirrors. From behind you can see one of the LEDs light up, pretty cool.

They are short 4-10 second clips.

Since I keep it real.....The videos were crap, but the mirrors look nice on zx2uner's signature.

Ha, I agree, the movie quality is crap. They are from my digital camera that can take 15 second clips with no sound. There are daytime pics of the mirrors in this thread (http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16522&page=3).

Real nice James ... the videos suck but it's cool you got them wired up and they even work! Checked out the daytime pictures and they sure are a nice addition!

I would like them if it wasnt for the few second interval.... After a few seconds the got off beat of each other, and once there's two sets of blinking things all at once.... Thats a lot of seizures your gonna cause.... Other than that... i kinda like them, they're just not for me...

I noticed that too. I think it's just that the mirror one comes on a slight second before the headlight one. To me it looks like it stays constant, meaning the mirrors are always coming on a split second first. I don't think they get to the point of being total opposite from each other. I'll have to look again tonight.

I can't really see myself using the turn signals for more than a few seconds anyways... I can't stand those people who drive down the road with there turn signals on. When you need to change, do it.... don't tell me your turn is gonna be coming up within the next mile, just hit the turn signals maybe 3-4 seconds before turning. The lights look good though.

The normal bulbs have to "brighten up" when you pass voltage through them, the LEDs are basically on/off and "brighten up" almost instantly. If you put normal bulbs instead of LEDs in the mirrors that effect should disappear.

It doesn't bother me that they are different. Plus, the LEDs will last me forever which is good because changing bulbs in the lights would be a pain in the rear. I should have taken pics of the back of the mirror so people could see. Oh wells.
