i did this on friday to my tails.

made the turn signals amber....i prefer them clear with hyper white bulbs myself but to each thier own.

Cool. I certainly like the stock look better, but it's probably a mod that nobody else has.

It is unique! If you've got amber bulbs in there, you might as well have amber lenses. Exactly how did you do that? Transparent amber paint?

I removed the interior bulb shield and put chrome bulbs in mine. So, I've got the complete chrome look, but it still flashes amber ... same in the front where I removed the amber lens.

It's ok. I didn't like the amber color so I replaced my back signals w/a chrome red bulb.

It is surely different. I like it though. Almost looks like the Ausie tails. I wonder if someone in Australia could get those for us.

i did this with 35% orange tint. i forget... what do the ausie tails look like?

ive been trying, but the tails are not DOT approved, so use of them stateside would result in a hefty fine if you were to get hit or have a prick *** cop who actually knows about the regs...

The thing is, no cop is going to know that the Aussie lights are different. Because they are OEM and look OEM there shouldn't be any problems.

this is a pic of aussie 2006 elantra sedan tail lights.

the fog light is the top portion of the light - so obv the brake/tail lights are the lower section.

i like the way the reverse lights and indicators are in the system :)

(no i didnt run out to take the pic for the thread, i had it on my computer allready from when i did a photo shoot the first weekend i had my car ;) :)
